Emergency Assist
When you can’t get there right away - we can send one to help
Our Companions provide immediate reassurance and practical support while family members are on their way — ensuring your loved one isn’t alone in a moment of worry or confusion.

We can wait with them, offer comfort, make a cup of tea, help them to a safe and comfortable position and stay until family or medical help arrives.
Every situation is handled gently, calmly and with respect.

We also provide welfare and safety checks - whether after a hospital stay, following a fall or when someone simply isn’t answering their phone. A trusted local Companion can pop in, check their wellbeing, offer reassurance and provide an update to family for peace of mind.

-
Unexpected situations when you live too far away to respond immediately - we can get there and wait for your arrival
-
Unexpected situations when you are at work and cannot respond immediately
-
Post-hospital recovery when someone needs light help and observation. Daily reporting back to the family
-
Falls or confusion episodes, where reassurance is needed while awaiting support
-
Routine welfare checks for vulnerable adults living independently

After-Life Care
Gentle, respectful support for families after loss.

We understand that when someone passes away, there are often practical things that need to be done — at a time when it’s hardest to face them. Our Companions can step in with quiet, dependable support to help you through those early days and beyond.

We can assist with:
-
Meeting funeral directors or attending the funeral home on your behalf if you live at a distance
-
Preparing or clearing a property - from arranging trusted clearance teams to being present on site while they attend
-
Collecting personal belongings, documents or items of sentimental value with care and respect for the family. We would hold them till you are ready.
-
Liaising with neighbours, housing officers or estate agents if needed
-
Checking on pets, emergency overnight homing or helping to permanently rehome them
-
Companionship and emotional support visits for family members coping with bereavement
-
Or simply collecting the Order of Service and popping it to the funeral home for you
-
Collect ashes with the utmost care and hold them safely until the family decides their resting place
